Rumchata recipes

Review by Lyndee:
I’m a huge fan of Rumchata.  Probably not surprising since my favorite drink is rum, but still.  I never knew alcohol could taste that smooth and dreamy.  If you haven’t tried it the best way to describe it is that it tastes like the milk leftover after you eat Cinnamon Toast Crunch cereal.  Yes, for real!!  On Saturday I introduced Melody to my new favorite liquor.  We decided we would do some drink experiments while we were concocting our Thanksgiving feast and crafting.  We came up with a few variations below.  Mix and serve over ice.  You will smile.  Your belly will be warm.  You will thank us.

Captain Chata
1 part Captain Morgan
1 part Rumchata

Chocolate Chata
1 part Captain Morgan
1 part Rumchata
1 squirt of Hershey’s syrup
1 dash of milk

 Rumlua
1 part Captain Morgan
1 part Rumchata
1 part Kahlua
1 dash of milk

And our very favorite mix, possibly ever…

Cinnamon Apple Crisp
1 part Rumchata
1 part Dr. McGillicuddy’s Apple Pie

OMG! The Apple crisp was almost knee buckling it was so good. This will be a staple at holidays and get togethers from here on out!!  If you have another recipe you want to share with us, please do! And let us know what you think of ours.

  7. I tried the "Apple Crisp." It was good on the rocks. Mine thickened almost like a tapioca.

  8. I had leftover coffee with half n half with Bailey's. To this I added Rumchata and Black Velvet Cinnamon Rush on the rocks. - a taste sensation! The Rumchata and Cinnamon Rush on the rocks was good before the coffee/Bailey's addition but when combined, watch out!
