MOTs Remember 9/11

It's the 11th anniversary of 9/11 -- such a somber, scary day in our history.  Today we see the reminders of that infamous day on television, hear it on the radio, or read it on our social network pages or blogs.  As I read through my fellow-TT123 colleague's weight loss blog (http://fattofitinthe515.blogspot.com/2012/09/i-remember.html), I recall the feelings of that day.  Also, some of you may experience some interesting conversations with the little ones tonight as you sit around the dinner table and discuss the things they did today.  Maybe they'll catch something on tv, or hear something on the radio on the way home, or hear mom and dad discussing the 9/11 anniversary -- questions may arise.  How will you answer those questions from such small, innocent little ones?  I think it is a good opportunity for MOTs to educate their children about the importance of being an American.  In times of trouble, we always manage to band together, no matter our differences.  We have important citizens like firefighters, police, soldiers who help us out in times of trouble and keep us free and safe.  Talk about the flag, what it means to be an American, and how we can never forget 9/11.  Talking with your kids, no matter their age, is better than any craft you'll find!
