7-up biscuits

Review by Lyndee:
The only time I’ve ever used bisquick is for pancakes so when I saw this recipe calling for bisquick and 7-up, claiming to be easy to make and the most delicious biscuit ever, I had to step up to the challenge.

2 cups Bisquick
½ cup 7-up
½  cup sour cream
¼  cup melted butter ( or margarine)
½  tsp garlic powder

Preheat Oven To 450.  Mix sour cream and Bisquick together, then add 7UP.  Here is where you can have some variation.  If you want actual biscuits, press dough flat and cut into 9 equal circles.  I decided to do more of a biscuit bread, if you will.

Pour half of the melted butter into the bottom of a 9x9 pan.  Press dough into the pan (or set biscuits in it).  Drizzle the rest of the butter over the biscuits and sprinkle with the garlic powder.  Bake for 15 minutes.  Serve warm.

These were amazing.  They tasted much like a biscuit from Red Lobster but without the cheese.  Every one that tried them was swooning about them.  They were melt in your mouth awesome goodness.  I will be making these again and again!
