Ingredients:
1 pound ground beef
1/8 tspn black pepper
1 medium green pepper, chopped
½ cup chopped onion
1 ½ cups Hunts four cheese spaghetti sauce
4 flour tortillas
4 pieces part skim mozzarella string cheese (I used shredded mozzarella
instead)
Preheat oven to 350. Place beef
in large skillet. Sprinkle with black
pepper. Add green pepper and onion. Cook until no longer pink, stirring occasionally;
drain. Stir in pasta sauce and bring to
a simmer. Spoon ¾ cup beef mixture across
each tortilla, just below the center.
Top beef mixture with cheese.
Pull bottom of tortilla over filling, fold over sides and roll into a
burrito. Place seam side down on
ungreased baking sheet. Bake 10 minutes
or until lightly browned on top.
We followed the recipe but didn't use any green peppers
& instead of string cheese I used shredded mozzarella cheese that I had on
hand. I also used the Hunt's Mushroom
pizza sauce instead of the 4 cheese one.
These were really simple to put together, pretty much spaghetti but with
tortillas instead of noodles. They were very messy. Nothing wrong with them but nothing extra
special either. Jake loved the filling
but not the tortilla cuz it was so crunchy.
